INITIO offers a variety of scans to suit each patient’s individual needs, based on their medical history. Each scan has specific preparation that must be followed before, during and/or after the appointment. It is important that the preparation is followed. Upon booking, we will discuss the scan requirements as well as provide written instructions to your email.

When we receive your requisition form, we will gather those clinical information for your scan. After that, our radiologist will have a look at the necessity for the scan. Usually, our receptionist can call you back to book an appointment within 1-2 business days after receiving the requisition form. Usually, for the FDG PETCT scan and CT scan, it will be conducted within 1-2 weeks after the requisition form comes in. For other scans, please feel free to contact us for the soonest availability.
Yes, although we are a private pay clinic, we still need a medical doctor referral for the scan as the clinical information is essential for our radiologist to better dictate the report.
